Agree with the other guys, best to try it first.

Regarding ADAU1452 or any data converter part, its not mostly about chip specs. Its mostly about the circuitry around the chip and the PCB board design that allows a chip to perform as well one would hope.

Low cost DSP dominate because they work just fine.
