Hello everyone,
Im currently doing a project to develop a hearing aid system.I goin to use NE570 compandor as a compression circuit but im confuse how to implement the IC.The 16 pin really confuse me since im lack of reference. Can anyone guide me to this?

I got what you mean.🙂 But im really need some example on implementation of NE570(schematic).Im confuse here.😕

Search google images: http://images.google.com/
Keyword: NE570
You will find more schematics than you need 😉

Haha i had try on that 🙂 That bring me the issue on this forum.

Still learning 🙂 Im confuse about gain cell pin(3,14).
I think you should study and setup a basic compressor (Fig.7)
and one basic expander (Fig.6), from the NE570 datasheet.
What I understand the compressor can be set to some Gain.
And the Expander will take the compressed signal and put it back for normal use.
The application note pdf is also useful (I think)

The gain cell is where it happens.
Based on the RECT_IN (a rectified signal level)
the gain cell will adjust the gain to required gain level.
If the RECT_IN is fed (getting feedback) from the output, and the output level is very low
then the RECT_IN will tell the gain cell to provide more gain
and so the signal at output gets stronger.

try ne578

the ne578 are more easy to understand..
cheers
