The scenes captured are not in the actual film, rather the footage is of the people in the
street during the Hollywood premiere of The Circus. I think this adds a bit more mystery
to what is seen, as it is capturing a moment in time which is incidental rather than planned. .

Does a parked time machine stay at a fixed point in time or flow along with it?
More importantly, does the parking metre stay at a fixed point in time?
