Ok no problem, looks very doable! The control board is for the button interface i see, is the diagonal IC the ATmega chip?
yes, its ATMEGA32A
First, I tryed a ATMEGA16, but 1kB RAM is not enough for Display Graphics
Atmega run at 10,240kHz
All write in Arduino IDE + MightyCore addon

The control board also is for YM7121 servo manipulate, CD Q-Code, TOC reading, IC current state control, And commands writting to servo. It is a important part of device. The control board is for the button interface i see,
Just one mistake in servo sratup initialization, and nothing work, or sounding terrible.
Ah great! This is the attraction for me, outsource as much jobs to 'modern' electronics like ATMEGA. Thank you, will keep posting my progress here!
CD-RW reading is enable now!
The HF signal is 0,8V peak-to-peak, compare to 2V p-p CD-R signal.
Laser bias is not increased.

On this project I noticed that the Sanyo action was used, my question is, is it possible to adapt the Philips mecanics VAM1202 VAM1201 CDM1202 CDM1201 ?
but it is possible to have the list of components of the display board and the wiring diagram of the power supply board.
Thank you
Hello. The board is compatible with 3-beam laser system and AC+BD photodiode focus tracking. I thinking about Sanyo SF-HD 62 as example. Philips make bouth 1-beam and 3-beam mechanism.Philips mecanics VAM
Modern version of PSU assy is attached.
BOM of control board is present only in my head - Atmega 32a DIP40, 7805, Remote sensor is TSOP31238, key is 9,5mm height, 6x6mm size, several caps and 12Mhz quarz. Display model is 100x16 point - https://aliexpress.ru/item/32905595388.html

Thank you for your quick answer.
But what make of the mechanics in your CD player is it?
As for the display board, would you kindly tell me the list of components besides the ones you have listed, I seem to notice other components too, resistors, capacitors etc.
thank you

Great, many thanks
Hi.
Can't help with Sanyo SF-90 (or SF-P1), but I do have some new old stock Sanyo SF P101N. As in attached pictures.
These are complete with mech, draw and disc clamp and anything else as shown. Sorry but I don't have any information regarding the original fitment. I have been stung in the past here, (gave two of these free to a guy for testing, who never got back to me) and sold an amp kit to another guy at cost only then for him to break up the kit and sell it at eight times the price). So please make reasonable offers if interested. I think I've got 6 or so.

Complete device
The result is perfect reading and better sounding (through digital output). CDRW is starting, but not reading. Laser bias is standart 40mA
