Its what I would term a quality auto changer with that long spindle , a full parts list is available on vinyl engine as is an exploded diagram --you do have to log in though.
I once had a Garrard 301 and previously tc2025--the SP25 was the one that was popular then I don't want to dampen your spirits but many were fitted with low end Shure cartridges its quite a good deck but not up to -how will I put this? --well nowadays there is top end and middle and introductory --it fits in in the introductory level.
Of course you could fit a V15 but I think that would be OTT.

I know it’s not up to par with today’s tables
I like and feel that the old school has better character and soul. I have a few nice carts in my part bench

A recent 'vintage' review of the manual version in HiFi News rated it highly even by today's standards.

Thanks for that, makes me feel better about buying it. I now have 7 tables and only one is hooked up, my ELAC table, I’m about to build some new audio shelf’s for my Florida / music room and I want to display and have them all hooked up, or at lest most of them. Turntables are , to me some of the best eye candy in home audio. Yes I know a ton of amps and preamps that have all the lights and meters on them look cool. But turntables do it for me. That gives me an idea on a new post to start.
Thanks Logic800
