I used to run a mobile disco and the speakers were all on castors. Never had any problems with that.

You obviously never had to DJ on a sloping stage like some I encountered! 😀

Yes, just like there are people who prefer audiophile cables or gold-plated connectors, or O-Rings for tubes.
