FYI for anyone finding this thread I did eventually get my hands on a service manual for the Gryphon Tabu and after comparing it to the NAD S300 schematic it is no problem to use the NAD to service the Gryphon. They are identical circuits. Note that this only applies to the Tabu that has rectifiers mounted to the chassis.
