Hi anyone ever figured out the reason ans solution to the hifonics amplifiers getting power t he log but no power to turn on I need to get my zues zrx 1800 fix any help would be appreciated thanks
The top LED is controlled by the remote turn-on. The amp doesn't have to function for the LED to light up.
Have you pulled the cover to see if anything is burned?
Do you have a multimeter?

Hi thanks for replying yes I have pulled the cover nothing looks or smells burnt have given it to a friend who knows more about testing and he has ot found anything out so far he decharged the caps and it came on and worked but he shut it off left it for a while and it did the same error we both are a bit stumped
You will likely need to measure the voltage at various points in the amp while it's connected to a power source. Do you have a multimeter?
Unless you know what to test, wait for instructions.
Whenever you are testing, you should have a 10-15 amp fuse in the B+ line to help protect the amp. You also need to make sure that you don't slip and short between adjacent pins/terminals. Sharpen your probes if they're dull.
