How much should i derate a damper diode ?

I've been reading about 5v3a rectifier (1.4A peak current, 6.6A transient peak, 350ma dc), i would have loved to use 2 x damper diodes, but i have room only for one tube.

I ran psud simulation with 5v3a and it gives a B+ voltage at C2 around 470v. I wonder if would be enough for kt88?

In the simulation, steady peak current was ~1A, below the 1.4A limit. And transient peak, around 4.8A, below 6.6A limit.

I think i'm going to give it a try, and do the yellow sheet mod, add one UF5408 on each plate.
