Hi,im opening this thread for owners of the Dx50 and the ones who would like to share their knowledge in upgrading this digital audio player built for audiophiles.
First mod i tried was replacing the stereo opamp( marking scratched off) with Opa1642 and i guess a fake opa2836(was consuming a lot) .liked the TI Opa1642 so left it in there till ill get some new opa2836 from digikey or mouser.
With original Buffers and opa1642 i get very decent sound and not bad battery life around 9hours -i use the player only at the gym.
Tried also to replace buffers with opa2836 but i dont know how to stop one channel from consuming energy -apparently they work concomitantly.
Got some 470uF silmic2 silmic II 6.3V will test when they'll arrive, will have 20hz even on 32 ohms headphones and of course the reactance will be 1/2 of the current one.
Any buffer opamps you can recommend ? i cant go more than 1ma.

here is how should you replace buffer opamp,by using sot23-6 opa835 for example.
Kinpsta battery got new one ,and it works -very slow discharge rate when off.
lasts very long -not yet replaced buffers
