Identifying Svetlana KT88 tubes

Thanks Kevinkr, I suspect that they are indeed from the original plant as well. The top of the box is yellowed and the date code looks to be from 2005. It's clearly 0005.
When I get a chance I'm going to install them in my Denise Had SE amp. So far an original set of EL34 tubes that came from a Dynaco ST70 have sounded the best.
Does anyone have any KT88 that came from the Xpo-pul factory with the rectangular holes? I know all the new ones have the round holes.

Great tubes, indeed, but in no way comparable to KT88's, as the origin of their construction is about 20 years older. It's just quite a different tube.

Best regards!

Sure; the origin of KT88 is 1935 RSA 6L6, while the origin of ГУ50 is 1940 Telefunken LS-50 designed for military and government.

LS-50 was true pentode with dense screen grid, with anode made of a nickel alloy that absorbs gases when hot instead of damaging the tube, and energy saving cathode for battery powering. Also, it was designed to work in any position in mobile equipment.
