Originally the Logitech Z4 per manufacturer specifications, it runs on 23 Watts for the subwoofer and 2 channels of 8.5 Watts with small (2-inch) 3-Ohm speakers.
The chips used by the amplifier are:
Texas Instruments TL074CN
JRC 45650
STA540 4 x 13 W dual / quad power amplifier https://www.mouser.mx/datasheet/2/389/cd00171346-1796648.pdf
My idea is to replace the original speakers that no longer work, with a speaker for each channel, with the following characteristics, 3 inches, 4 Ohms, whose rated power is 15W. Frequency: 80hz-20Khz Sensivity>87dB online sales.
Testing with some old 3 inch 4 ohm speakers but unknown power. (I assume 12.5 Watts per channel, since they belonged to a 25 Watts Total RMS 2.0 system). They each work well on the logitech Z4 logitech RCA channel. But the ones I want to buy online are hifi, looking for a purer and more crystalline sound, instrumental separation.
Online they sell 3 Inch - 4 Ohms hifi speakers but with different operating power, I do not know if it will support using a rated power 15W speaker per channel "L and R" RCA of the Logitech Z4. I don't want to damage the amp or speakers.
Thanks for your advice and advice.

Don't make it play as loud as the last owner did.I don't want to damage the amp or speakers.
The amplifier is only 8 watts per channel.
Almost any speaker will work.
The sub channel might be bridged.
So a 8 ohm load appears to be 4 ohms to each amplifier.
As far as heat the min load should be 4 ohms so the amps dont get to hot.
So the left /right channels can be operated at 8 or 4 ohms.
Sub channel if bridged, i would use only 8 ohm
Speakers are rated thermally for the heat they can handle.
otherwise the can be operated at 1 or 8 watts.
Most speakers will likely reach distortion before you exceed the thermal rating.
so when they distort, that is pretty much it, back off the volume.
A speaker rated at " 16 watt" thermal can handle 16 watts before the voice coil melts.
otherwise it likely reaches distortion at 1 to 3 watts mechanically

Thanks for your answers, I am planning to buy the 4 Ohms 15 watt model from Ouxiang, in its 3 Inch size. To replace the small speakers that logitech Z4 originally brought that worked with 8.5 W and 3 Ohms but already sounded somewhat hoarse. Functional tests: I tried with an old JBL, 3 Inch --- 4 Ohms, whose power in watts I do not know. And with a 8 Ohm 3 Watt radio speaker in both cases it works without distortion.
Although my speakers are for home audiophile use. (Creative sound card). I am very excited about modifying or assembling my own speakers taking advantage of the logitech Z4's amplifier. My fear was breaking the amp or breaking the speakers. Because I have read in audio forums where they mention that the amplifier must be 30% to 50% above the power of the speakers.
That is why I believed that my amplifier would suffer damage if it fails to supply the 15 Watts per channel required by the 4 Ohm Ouxiang speakers. That they depend on that chip STA540 that feeds them. If I can be sure that nothing will be damaged by use, I will buy the Ouxiang Speakers.
These Ouxiang speakers inspire confidence after comparing several similar options offered online, but with other frequency ranges and materials. According to the comments of those who have bought them, these speakers achieve precise, balanced and analytical reproduction. Buying the wooden casings the end result should be good. Thinking ahead when the Z4 amplifier no longer works, buy a LEPY LP 838 or something similar to replace it, keeping the Ouxiang Speakers.
Thank you for your comments and advice.
