Don‘t worry, that is just normal with Jac. Had to wait about 8 weeks after payment with no reaction to mails and no shipment as well.

After waiting the 8 weeks it helped to mail an order cancellation and then suddenly the parcel was on its way.

I went through exactly the same with two orders. Never again.

Just for information I have his routing data and he has a MS connection --several network ports connected to Redmond--all the ones I have blocked --no problem for many but not for me.



Counted 6 so far that's have been intercepted in the past and are "open " .


His remote calling procedure is run by MS making it look as though you are communicating with him direct--- you aren't but never mind I use Linux so it doesn't bother me as nothing MS works on my PC.


This is the first website I have noticed as bad as this but it pays .

Have you tried---hifi manuals.com I don't want to log in as I got several warnings on doing so but maybe it doesn't bother many here ?


Its got the second version of the 4040 schematic.
The last one I tried online had the earlier serial number.

IMHO, his goods are first rate but communication after payment is iffy until a "threatening" email is sent. Poor business practices but I've ordered three times and have been satisfied in the end. It is sort of like the old days when one sent off a check for a catalog, waited to receive it and then sent off a check with a written order form. Weeks to months later parts may arrive.

Who is "His" ? And what are the webside you refer to ?

The subject of comment --well its not "his " in ownership he just pays MS for its use ,usually a website has a couple of connections to Google

but his is practically run by MS even though you wont realize it.


As I said "its just for information " don't read too much into it.

Sorry but it's still not clear to me who "his" is or who is paying MS (for what)

Collection-storage-commercial use of customers data --many are happy with that ,some aren't.


I got a 404 on several of his webpage url,s .


To put you in the picture many good websites --like this one even with a lot of Google run it very efficiently and smoothly .


Dont think DIY Audio is typical of every website forum or not.


There are plenty of badly programmed websites around.

Communication AS_Audio its what helps people and businesses interact smoothly , lack of it causes unrest.


I welcome the German server which I knew about ,its just the underlying openness to "man in the middle " attacks that worries me .


I will stop there , as I said no big issue.

I don't want to carry this on but saying somebody is in "X" country means nothing as far as where the server is located.


Apart from the UK government (and services ) nearly all servers relating to UK public business are located in the USA via either Amazon or Google and "Cloud " which can be one of at least three giant US communication conglomerates .


I have full map and tracking abilities.


I thought everybody knew that ?

Yes, this duncan2 seems unaware of how Internet is built, and where 1&1
uses their servers. ( it's in germany !!). He seems also unable to read
and respond, i'll consider him a resident troll.
