Amp goes in protect when input signal is increase. With gain set at different points it will still shutdown when I increase signal from the head unit.
Pulling R94 and d234 one at a time did not make a difference.
Any suggestions?

Post pictures of the board with and w/o preamp board. There are several versions of the ZX400.1.
Try lifting R22-22K ohm, then D16.

Check the voltage on output pin with black probe on negative speaker terminal.
Also, take pictures of the entire board and preamp board with no glare.

Using negative speaker terminal same voltage.
Forgot to mention it’s —546mv

Check rail voltages and the +/-12 volt rails on preamp board, Also the VC pin on the preamp board.
Lift D15. I am just going through a process of elimination.
Check the voltage across D231-BZG03C12.
Look for any loose grounding screws and check C40,41,42
post the voltages and use Negative speaker ground for black probe.
