Do you have this 6" bass and some tweeters? Before spending too much time on it, enquiring minds want to know! 🙂

The theory is easy enough:

I tend to think woofers are woofers. Just some are easier than others. Looking at the MTZ audio project, we appear to have a fairly standard 2.5mH bass coil, 4.7uF rolloff and 10R/10uF impedance correction. Crossover looks to be about 3-4kHz with some considerable (and probably pointless) faffing about to damp the 25kHz metal resonance of the tweeter in the last two sections of the (6R8, 3.3uF/0.2mH) tweeter filter.

Quite a nasty 4kHz break up on the woofer, which will affect phase particularly. Various circuits might be tried for the bass. 2.2mH and 4.7uF with a little 2.2R resistor in series with the capacitor might get you to a similar place. I would be simming something similar to see.
