I was thinking in terms of a gasket, but a 30 mm gun shell could sharpened to be a hole die to press/hammer.
I got a bit of a dollar shock when I ordered the FerroFluid but it should be here in a week and I will remeasure then.

I feel like ferrofluid is a bad idea. It introduces entropy as it degrades over time, and to my way of thinking most of the time you're better working within the constraints of the coil/gap heat dissipation. Too much power? Horn, small midtweet and higher XO, whatever it takes. I've pulled too much nasty gummy ferrofluid out to trust the current stuff even though I'm sure it's better.
