Lundahl LL1931AG STEPUP Transformer

SUTs: More complete details of my step-up transformer escapade will have to wait for another Dream, but for the sake of a proper cartridge review, I tried Lyra's Delos with a variety of MC step-up transformers including a high-nickel EMIA with copper wire and a discontinued Koetsu. Both transformers sounded clean and clear, but the SUT that grabbed me hardest was the Lundahl LL1931 Ag.

if you are using Koetsu, Benz Micro or Hana, LL1931ag will make you very happy...

finally got my LL1931Ag from Victor today
very nice packaging which even before installing gives very good impression
fantastic build quality
installed it straight away in the chain between Kiseki Purpleheart Saphire in AnalogMagik direct wired FR66 and my LCR riaa
lo and behold, almost no hum left on my 110db fullrange horn system
will experiment more with the different gnd configurations, but first I´ll give it a good couple of weeks massage
however I can say that straight out the box this unit delivers......resolution, low level resolution and very solid lo-end harmonics and dynamics too
a clear no-brainer and stayer
