Look at the circuit in post #32
1. Input bias is the current that flows out of the base of TR1 via R1 and R2.
2. Final bias, output bias. Both refer to the quiescent current that flows in the output stage.
3. Gain. Voltage gain of the circuit is (R9+R7)/R7. So that gives "22". That means 1 volts rms applied to the input will give 22 volts rms output.
4. Feedback means many things. In this circuit it typically means R9 and R7.

The MOSFET one is well documented as you probably know, with a lot of copies and variations as well.
The 50 watter, not seen a circuit for that for many years.
The big one. That was a really basic circuit I seem to remember, a classic textbook simple amp. Something like an input pair, VAS and drivers, nothing else, no CCS or anything. You just hung outputs on the end of it.

I hate to drag up an old thread but yesterday I bought an old tolex covered wooden box with heatsinks on the back, popped the top off and found 2 maplins amplifier modules inside, along with 2 huge transformers, figured for the sake of a tenner it was worth picking up for just the transformers. I don't have it with me right now but I think it had 4 pairs of output transistors on crudely mounted heatsinks with wires hanging all over the place and I distinctly remember the fuse holders had been bridged with wire soldered in place of the fuse 
From what i've read they were pretty decent modules and I guess it might be fun to try and repair these ones for hifi use. Maybe mount them in a nice metal case. Right now the wooden box they are in is a mess and has 1/4 jack inputs so I assume it was used in a pa system at some point.
Will try and get some pictures up later today.

BJT, bipolar junction transistor.
Because a transistor is made from three layers, either PNP or NPN.
They are bipolar. They conduct in both directions towards the base layer. Check with a diode tester.

Bi meaning two, and relating to the two types of charge carrier, holes and electrons that the devices rely on.

The amplifiers were originally used for a Maplin disco.
I just had one for a mono disco but the record deck cabinet was designed to fit in two.
The amps are 225WRMS into 4 ohms. Mine was very loud,. I used mine in combination with 4 off Fane 50WRMS speakers.

I built it but replaced the output drivers with 15003/15004 and used mje15031/32 and run it on +- 60volts worked perfectly but I could not adjust the bias current turning rv1 had no effect
