Helo all my dear friends again I need your Lil bit help here. Recently I built a amp from this schematic it sounds well but I wanted to change its output to quasi complementary output stage..
Bcoz quasi output stage gives deep bass and good sound quality. I am not so good in modifying circuits. I just build using schematics only. So I hope any one can guide me or modify this schematic for me. Here is a schematic..
Many thanks in advance.🙂

According to me you are hammering the wrong nail .... going to quasi ... will not give you a better bass .... your problem is sowere else .... anywhere else ....
Quasi-complementary was a hack from back with complementary pairs weren't available - its never going to perform better than a symmetric topology, although it can be made to work fine.
Nope, it hinders getting low crossover distortion a bit, that's all. Nothing to do with bass response.Bcoz quasi output stage gives deep bass and good sound quality

Dear respected sir thank you for answering may be I am wrong about quasi opinion or definitely you have better experience than me.According to my experience I used many quasi amps for many years and I really like this type of hack topology sir🙂
Dear sir I have no problem the other reason is that I have a collection of npn transistors so I just want to use them In my diy amps. You are right I have built many quasi amps and some times it never gives you good results as your expectations.According to me you are hammering the wrong nail .... going to quasi ... will not give you a better bass .... your problem is sowere else .... anywhere else ....
It depends on whole circuit when you have high quality class ab amp circuit then you will get good output as quasi amp according to my experience..
If you have plenty of c5200, you can build fm acoustics amp. Schematics was recently posted. Its quasi complementary with two outputs, it will drive anything.
Thank you Adason sir for suggestion I look for fm acoustics amp schematics..If you have plenty of c5200, you can build fm acoustics amp. Schematics was recently posted. Its quasi complementary with two outputs, it will drive anything.
A quasi version is going to look something like this. Note that R1 is now 47 Ohms.
Thanks every one for help me here and also thank you so much Steveu sir for modify a schematic for me.A quasi version is going to look something like this. Note that R1 is now 47 Ohms.View attachment 1045688
