Very nice, especially the 8". But I fear that they will cost an arm and a leg.

They are looking really nice! The tweeters as well 😉
I hope for reasonable prices with the ferrite magnets...

as a DIYer I hate non-circular frames.
as an OEM I think it’s a great idea - more Sd, less mounting space (why do you need a so much frame just for 4 mounting screws), less material waste.

I see your point, but even for a manufacturer, recessing an octagon with sharp corners is a way more complex machining operation than recessing a circle. If the corners of the octagon frame had a 1/4" (6mm) radius, then a CNC cutter could cleanly make the cut. But sharp corners complicate things.
Flush mounting mid-woofers are ok. Sometimes helps with passive crossovers.
that’s why I’m going to tell myself. No way I would bother with making a template…

I like anything that permits closer driver spacing, but some of these weird format frames are very hard to recess, which I think is more important than tightest possible spacing. If its an absolute necessity for the design, I'd rather physically notch the driver frame to obtain the clearance. Thats one reason I like polymer frame drivers, but they aren't that rigid compared to aluminum or magnesium.
Price is pretty good, about same as mw16p in US.
No measurements though. And the 6 size is pretty odd, more like a 7 inch driver.

8NMFW-8 how can one use I cannot interpret the technical parameters. will this driver be better or same as purifi
Slightly higher sensitivity, requiring a smaller box. What gives? Slightly less bass extension. It still goes to 55Hz
x-max is not higher, but perhaps thermal power handling is higher

Just finished and got to listen to our first designs for the 8nmfw and the t25s. First impressions are great. Hope to be able to record a video with proper sound soon 🙂
nice job recessing the octagonal frame... those are a pain to recess.
edit - i just looked back earlier in the thread, and it seems I already complained twice about the frame... so, sorry to repeat myself...
