What are the recommended rail voltage and bias settings for driving relatively inefficient 600 Ohm cans? (~90dB/1mW)

I would run the rails at 18 Volts and play with the bias but even poor headphones will play plenty loud.

Case for amp

The Hammond 1455T2201 case has been mentioned a few times.
It looks to be a tight fit given the size of the PCB.

For those who used it, how did you find it? I'm a bit worried about
fitting in the various connectors.

It was designed to slide into that chassis but it is tight depending on power entry and connectors.

Hi Dennis,

It's a very tight fit but it works. I'm almost done with mine. My issue is more about routing wires especially if you want to avoid the transformer. I wasn't able to use an integrated IEC inlet/switch/fuse combo and had to use individual parts which meant several finicky small holes and more wires rather than one big hole and done.

At this point I have a list of suggestions for rev. 4 if Wayne or Jim ever decides they want to do one.
