That is correct-
Tube pin size of Magnoval is 1.2mm, Novar is 1.0mm. Base circle is same. There are currently sources for Magnoval sockets, since Magnoval tubes are still being produced- but no Novar tube I know of is- so no sockets. Genuine Novar sockets are NOS, with price kinda high.

Slots for pin sockets in the ChiFi ceramic Magnoval base are same size as 12 pin Compactron, so pin sockets are interchangeable. Normally, this would be easy product to create since uses existing parts, but the language translation can be a barrier. Knowing for instance- that word 'solder' doesn't translate as a verb in Chinese, so you have to use 'weld' instead. The word 'socket' doesn't translate well as female insert in tube base- some call it 'needle'.
Some oddities are kinda funny- I have been addressed as 'Dear man'
Even blueprints can be challenging to describe details, like below- this manufacturer thought dimension in red was requested change. Finally got the correct mod (I think) using low tech sketched up picture of 12GT5.
I have Qty: 100 (which is their sample size) in manufacturing que. This version is gold pin PC board mount like blueprint.
If they arrive correct, then will try Chassis mount next.
