I’m trying to find a way to upgrade the speaker connectors on an old Silver/Harman Kardon amp and I had seen someone do similar with some panel mounted bullet sockets. I have tried everywhere I can think and haven’t been able to source any, so asking for ideas. Picture attached. Any other ideas would be welcomed, it currently has 2 pin DIN sockets that are a bit unreliable.

Those Pioneer-type speaker connectors where in short supply when you could buy the Pioneers tha used it could be bought new. They were a PITA.
Good Luck. Consider hacking the back and install proper 5-way binding posts

Are those in the first picture 4mm banana size sockets?
Just fit normal speaker posts as previous post. . Cut a bit of Perspex or Tufnol to make a mounting plate or a metal mounting plate if posts are insulated.

Yes, the attraction of these is that they can take banana plugs but are more compact and won't require me to cut the sheet metal in order to fit. I got some standard binding posts but they were too big to mount in the available space.
