I am buying some Panzerholz for a turntable plinth but I have to buy a whole sheet of it. I havent got a price yet but wanted to see if there is any interest in buying the rest of the sheet that I won't need?
update
Cost will be $75 a square foot. Shipping cost me almost as much as the wood did. plus import fees etc..

If your in the U.K. there is a importer there for panzerholz, so not too hard to come by.Went to Corvallis in '82, but a bit of a trek from the UK for a piece of wood, sadly... 😉
But if your in the market for 'densified wood' try Permali Deho, U.K company with several similar products, that have varying properties.

I used to by full sheets of Panzerholz quite frequently until California banned it's import on account of the Phenol glues. Any friendly glue alternatives on the market?

Spilled some vintage Port laughing 😀
Try the company i linked above, i dont have the datasheets for all the materials, some of them use phenolic resin/glue. Some says syntetic resin without specs, but clearly not identical just by looking at the products.I used to by full sheets of Panzerholz quite frequently until California banned it's import on account of the Phenol glues. On the other hand the Phenolic resin/glue, is some of what gives these products the unusually high damping factor, that's desired for audio purposes (plinths etc). That will change with different material compositions etc. And usually not in a positive way.
