Wow are those boards clean...😉So you found the cause of the error. Congratulations!
I deeply empathize with your situation, unfortunately my eyes are not the best either.
I am already making the next Pearl3:

Not necessarily for test.
I use these routinely for building.
This way it's easier to repair, if something dies, it's most probably a semiconductor, so in this way no need to disassemble or solder.
But if I want to experiment with the components, that's easy too.
As I see attached photo, there is a mistake.
On right panel R32 is other way around.

If I remember correctly, I bought it here:

You can find similar at Mouser:

single inline "breakaway" socket; they are inexpensive if purchased from eBay. Here are a few eBay product titles:
50Pcs 40Pin 2.54mm Single Row Round Female Pin Header Socket gold plated
10 Strip Tin PCB Panel Female IC Breakable 40 pin 2.54mm Row Round Header Socket
10Pcs 2.54mm Pitch 40 Pin Single Tin PCB Panel IC Breakable Round Female Header
5x Strip Tin PCB Panel Female IC Breakable 40 pin 2.54mm Row Round Header Socket
2Pcs 40Pin 2.54mm Single Row Round Female Pin Header Socket gold plate
Really?unfortunately my eyes are not the best either.
Yours is some of the nicest, most consistent soldering I have seen posted here. Cleanest too !
Pearl 2My first Pearl 3 is sings for some time.
First impressions was it sounds way more than my old Xono clone.
How it is possible, I didn't believe?
So as I have a new phono preamp, I just revised my Xono.
Although Wayne said, it is possibile to ommit output coupling capacitors, it didn't worked well for me.
Yeah, he is a wizzard assistant, but not me.
So I've implemented coupling caps, and I can't decide now which one is the better one, Xono or Pearl 3.
Good news (I think)
Previous measurements:18.6 at the positive, and 12.8 at the negative, both boards.
New measurements after fixing the mix-up between the 7815 and 7195: Left board: + 8.35, - 8.57; Right board +8.31, - 8.57.
R27 is now 2.41 on left, and 2.72 on right.
Thoughts?

Between one of the legs of R19 (the one goes to the collector of Q8) and gnd you should get 15 volts.
Could you make a measurement?
Could you make a measurement?
Yeahh...... but obviously at the wrong places/measuring points. At the Phono Boards...
Try to measure between pin 2 and pin 3 on the 7815, and between pin 1 and pin 3 on the 7915.
Waiting for the results 😉
You are welcomeOn my way to work, but will do that when i return this evening. Thanks for the help!
Sorry...i was following NP's instructions for values, i think...though i must have misunderstood. Will give this another go tonight. As always, thanks for the support and the patience!Yeahh...... but obviously at the wrong places/measuring points.

"... I just thought it would be safer not to perform the measurement on two pins that are only 2.5 mm or less apart...better not to risk a short circuit..."
Particularly since i can't even see 2.5 mm. What an S-show life is when vision fades. Still looking for the upside. Maybe it's that i have an excuse for poor spelling.
