The OPTs are made in DIY mode. The outer casings of the transformers are purchased from aliexpress.
The housings are made of anodized aluminum panels and laminated wood processed by milling, staining and varnishing. The front panels are made of aluminum and are inscribed on a CNC. Then they were immersed in a solution of caustic soda, inscribed with ink pen for technical drawing and finally covered with transparent varnish.
Hi
posting pics of my very early design, first design Atwater breadboard type amplifier. Plenty of time so I made all calculations, schematics, all hardware, hanwinded the power and output transformer, also made a simple hand winder and so on. To much spare time I guess but I wanted to go deep and understand the whole design process from start to end.
Fabulous DIY work

This really a great job vidax!
Especially those front panels are looking very professional. A real joy to look at.

Thank you for your appreciation.
You deserve it! Very nice amps.
Paint is a special wrinkle paint used for valve covers for a pair of old mopars in the garage.
OLD Hemis maybe?
Many engine builders used a black wrinkle finish on those giant valve covers back in the 70's. That paint is rather scarce here today. The common wrinkle finish will not handle the heat seen in valve covers.
Superb. A variable transconductance tube amp.
