I basically want to upgrade the parts to see if the sound gets any better.Im doing this for fun and also to learn. Also because I don't understand why the mid woofer and the 2 bass woofer are all is series.

Pioneer describe the SP-FS51-LR as having "three woofers". They also say it is a "3-way" with crossover frequency 2.5kHz.

Your circuit shows the three woofers in series driven by a second order low pass crossover. It looks like impedance modification has been applied across a pair of the woofers and perhaps the crossover experts will elaborate on that.

This bass circuit is meant to have the woofers working together in the bass region, and have just one of them handling the midrange.
Interesting I did get this circuit by tracing the original crossover circuit. Still a bit confusing why they are configured this way.
Perhaps because it isn't easy to get three woofers to evenly share the bass and to present a reasonable impedance at the same time?
Could it simply be that the 100uF/5.6ohm combination is shunting the mid frequencies around the two woofers, leaving them to be reproduced only by the third (left most) woofer?
This likely helps to keep the sensitivity similar to a single driver, while allowing louder bass. I can see that the tweeter has only a small resistor and can not go much louder relatively.
The effect of phase will have a small impact on the visual representation.. but it will be close. See what value you get.
With vertical pointers I get 1.5khz compared to the 1.456khz scope gives me. So either it's a 1.1mh or a 1.2mh.
For the air core,using the counter on the oscope gives me 2.760khz comes out to .35mh. I'm wondering how close I'm coming to the actual values ��.
