I have been playing with WinISD and have decided to attempt to design a speaker with a slot port. This is what I have made in SolidWorks pretty quickly. The slot is 1in x 8in with a total length of 32in measured from the centerline of the port. I included rounded corners to hopefully lower air speed.. I am asking here if this is realistic and if this works. I found a woofer that I could use to tune the enclosure to 25 Hz.
These are supposed to be decent-sized speakers. The total dimensions of the enclosure is 27x13x9.5, this is a section view to show the port path.

Given the aspect ratio of the box, the highish aspect of the vent and in particular its length, this is probably out of the realm of WINisd to sim.
It is some sort of DaLine/ML-TL/BR-TL hybrid — best readily availablke tool to sim woukled be HornResp,.

Do you plan to make a 2way speaker with a 6.5" or 8" woofer?tune the enclosure to 25 Hz.
Are you sure the 25 Hz tuning works as expected?
Your driver is either a heavy membrane subwoofer and may not be best suited for a 2way. Or it is a classic midwoofer and the low tuned enclosure will not have much influence except a slight bump at 25 Hz in the falling slope.
If it's going to be a woofer assisted wideband (WAW) it probably works fine with a subwoofer, but your wideband needs a separate enclosure.
