Hey JadedPhishFan; Welcome to the forum. Nice work on the Denon. I could never master veneers. It always blistered somewhere over time. Cheers; Glenn

I can heartily recommend Waterlox Original for this application!

My somewhat more compact take on phono/RIAA preamp. First the RIAA circuit:
Both sides are shown, capacitors on the back (PPS for the RIAA ones, C0G for the load caps). The 6 holes on the LHS are 0.1" pitch. Note this is stereo, not mono.
And next on the PCB are the 4-pole rumble filters:
Which only uses the back side for decoupling.
One day I'll make my own tonearm for this to sit in, but I used a boxed version as a portable phono preamp. Two PP3 9V rechargable batteries form the PSU in this instance.

This is my last project.
Great work there... well done. Could I ask ....where do you get your TT drive belts from please ?
This is My very first turntable build. The construction took 4 long months as I wasn’t sure how I wanted to make the bearing housing. The platter is supported by a single thrust bearing and uses bronze bushings. I’ve only made three changes since completing it in Jan of 2018. The first change was to replace the Hurst 3905 motor with a Hurst 3949 motor which uses ball bearings versus bushings. Initially the platter had to be pushed to start. After some side by side testing I learned the the original steel pulley was interfering with magnetic field and prevented unassisted start ups. I replaced pulley with one I made from delrin cutting board. The last minor change was to go monofilament fishing line and ditching the rubber belt. I still don’t know the overall weight but platter alone is 33 lbs. Only two items were sent to a machine shop, the platter and the main shaft. Metal pulley had lots of runout and with only a drill press on no lathe I was not able to address it. The Delrin pulley still has runout but far less than the first.YouTube
