Hello,
This might be a REALLY REALLY dumb question, but I can't seem to find an explanation of this.... it just confuses me rather.
I recently purchased a PSOne lcd screen, but was not able to power it up... then I contacted the seller and he told me that I needed the PSX to make it work.... but I'm trying to use this as a standalone and do my projector.... so what am I missing?
Do I need to mod it or something to power on? I've seenn many projector using this panel and nobody seemes to have this problem.... Any help will be very well appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What kind of power supply/adapter are you using? I believe you need 7.5v with 2-3 amps to power the PSOne LCD.

are you using a video source if not the screen just darkens when power is added there is no splash screen or anything built in. I dont even own a psone and mine is working.
In addition to 7.5V PSU you need a video signal connected to it.
Is this good screen for a small projector?

Hi,
Thanks for the responses. It came with the original power supply. And I tried with an A/V cable, but still no go. I can't even hear it if it's on or not. And another thing, where you plug the power supply is kind of loose.... I wonder if it's been opened before....
Hope this helps. Thanks again for your time guys. Let me hear from you as soon as you can, I've got couple days off to work on this.
