Really small enclosure for Peerless

For movie speakers, I want more than 4 inch.
For natural sound and extended bass, DDVP-10 is recommended.

It is no problem to make the width (154mm) 10mm narrower.
It would be interesting to make it with 144mm width and install FOSTEX FF105WK.

I also saw the two Built-in Type Enclosures projects, perhaps they would also be the best choice because the side space would always be scarce anyway. I saw that they also use fostex 105 drivers, have you also tested with cheaper drivers or do you think these are necessary to obtain the right quality level?

@verderame, the Peerless 830987 (3” driver) would be an excellent choice for your application in the TABAQ enclosure, which is slim floor stander quarter wave TL design.

I have built 2 sets for friends who use them primarily for TV speakers and also for music. These 830987 drives absolutely excel in the TABAQ enclosure and was also used in the commercial TABAQ speakers by Bjørn Johannesen in Denmark. These speakers will tick all your boxes in terms of size, SPL levels, natural timbre, amazing bass extension, and intelligibility for films or TV.

I would recommend one of these two plans (I prefer Plan B):

It seems a very suitable design for my needs, I come from the very good experience with the Peerless PLS-P830985 and this Peerless 830987 is very attractive to me. However, they seem to be hard to find. I need to find out more about these TABAQs, I really like them.

You are in Faital Pro country and there are a number of Faital Pro 3" and 4" drivers that work well in the TABAQ - see the build guide on Post #1. My main speakers are TABAQs with 4FE32 drivers. But for your purposes the P830987 will sound the best.
DigiKey stocks the Peerless drivers, as well as these guys but I've never used them before:

What do you think about TWTD - 10T with PLUVIA 7 HD?
This driver attracts me a lot.
They are a little lower than the DDVP - 10 ( if they were 80/85 cm they would have been perfect ), and in the end I would finally be able to have a markaudio system that I have considered many times in different projects but then I opted for something else.

Here we are, the construction with Pluvia has begun!
The cabinet was constructed from 15mm birch, the dimensions were scaled down slightly to a height of 85cm. For the moment they are still simply assembled and held together with clamps, I'm still trying to work out how to proceed with the internal material.
I took several measurements (it's the first time I've done this) and played with various combinations of zones 1,2,3, always using acrylic filling that is used for cushions. In the end the best combination seemed to me to be this: 70gr for part 1, 30gr for part 2 and 60gr for part 3.
The speakers currently have about 70 hours of use and I use an Aiyima D03 amplifier, to my surprise when I connected the speakers to my main system consisting of smsl Do 100 dac, valve preamplifier and nuprime sta 6 amplifier the sound was really low quality, with the Aiyima it sounds much better even if the voices seem a bit backward.
