I do not think that you can deform that clips. I do not manage even to drill to it. It is at least 1mm thick hard steel.

I searched through the boxes and found some old heatsinks and clips.
The clips are 0.5mm not 1mm as I remembered but they are very hard and you cannot deform them with usual tools.
These can be disassembled very very easily with a smaller chisel screwdriver placed as in the picture. By other methods it is very difficult to take down.

Looks like you have to lift the entire heat sink, as the clips are trapped in it.How to remove dose clips ?
Do I have to desoldered the whole channel ?
