Update:
- I contacted Marantz and they haven't been very helpful so far. Quoted me €460.00 for new 220V motor and €130.00 for 33/45 rpm engine pulley the pulley with an unknown processing times could be over 30 days. Didn't mention a different size pulley. Still inquiring about that just to confirm that there is not a specific pulley for EU.
- ralphfcooke was so nice has to make a specific pulley with the measurements based on the speeds that I was getting. And it works!!!
Looking into a more permanent solution but for now, the table is functional.
Hi Ralph! I have a similar problem: My wife has a Clearaudio Bluemotion from USA and we brought it to Germany. Looking online I've seen you solved the problem with a pulley, could you please sell me the same pulley? So far we make a little arrangement with tape so it turns at about 33.33, looks terrible but works well 🙂 Much appreciated you sharing knowledge here!! Cheers!Once we start playing around with different frequencies we might as well simply add a generator like the SG4, or RichB's Arduino.
At least that way the turntable runs the way it was designed.
I've sent the OP a pulley that I hope will work, at least at 33.3 rpm, if that's not accurate enough I'll look into alternative sources for a 60Hz supply
