These Integrated Amps are 50 yrs old. SA-9100's all need updates, at the bare minimum "ALL" of the rotary switches and pots (Front and Back) need a deep cleaning. There are many little time bombs in these units just waiting to pop up and cause havoc. Once properly done, these units sound better than ever sonically.
here is one I just wrapped up. Make no mistake it takes time to run through each circuit.... I don't typically play with these 60 watters, as I focus more on the >100 watt units. But I like the idea of keeping these units alive and off the side of the road or used as door stoppers.
Boards that need love in priority: Power Amp Boards x2, Power Supply1, Power Supply2, Protection, Control, Filter, Switch B and C, and EQ x 2.
