Cut the cheapest RCA cable in two pieces and solder some capacitor into the signal lead is beyond your capabilities?Thats a little beyond my pay grade

Am working one of these right at this moment. What i have found is i have very low output on right/hand channel on all functions however as soon as i remove the bottom chassis plate the chanel comes back. What i have found is as soon as tighten down the screw on a earth point right near the smoothing caps the chanel disappears but if you remove the plate and connect a bridging wire from that earth point chassi the channel goes faulty am trying to get circuit diagram at present to carry on fault finding.

Another thought - the screw is too long and shorting the signal somehow.What i have found is as soon as tighten down the screw
