You still haven't cited one level matched double blind listening test of DACs that's false....hearing research is medical.
'level matched double blind listening test' seems to be a magic formula and a mantra for some skeptical minds or some other guys. ;-) Amusing to read.
Which level matched double blind listening test have you read about?Amusing to read.
I like the matric repetition of these words and I am amused about finding them here and there always again.
I always think about what might be the intention of these guys.

If you are interested in audio, especially the topics surrounding DACs, you owe it to yourself to read about those listening tests performed. They can be found all over the internet.

It cannot be true or false. It simply is. It shows that under a given set of circumstances a given set of dacs can be shown to sound the same to a given set of listeners.

You haven't responded to my post EH.
I did specifically state that most Mastering Engineers I know use blind testing
to evaluate converters, in particular when they are looking at upgrading.
There are many thousands in the world (as you know).
Are they all lying, deluded? These days Pro Audio is not a hugely lucrative
sector so most ME's don't have endless amounts of money to throw at
conversion, they generally choose where to invest carefully
WRT converter brand awareness, the clients don't care (most wouldn't know the difference).
Please respond, I'm interested in how this fits in with your initial statement
about properly implemented DACs.

Why don't you ask them why they choose what they choose. Get back to me once you have the answer. You haven't responded to my post EH.
