Me too. It just doesn't compute. Mad thought... you are using the same dummy load for testing each channel ? In other words your load for that channel really is 8 ohms and not something lower. Sorry... had to ask 😀
Yes. And the load is precision resistors. I test dozens of amplifiers in a week and believe me, if the load were out of spec, I'd have noticed. 😉
It HAS to be. But after checking all the basics (rail sag, current limit resistors, drive levels), it still doesn't make any sense.
