Hi folks, check out my latest creation.
Goals:
I did a similar sealed build documented here, which went low after EQ but didn't get loud, so I thought I'd fix that by making it ported.
Result:

Impedance sweep:
Ports are 4" drain/sewage pipes from home depot (link)
They're 1m long each, they down into the box till they're behind the woofer.
Thoughts:
While it was fun to build, shakes the whole house, it doesn't sound as good as the sealed sub. I know a couple of issues with it already. I'll let you guys guess based on the pics and impedance sweep down in the replies

Goals:
- use the JVC speaker enclosure
- use a walmart 12" subwoofer ($30)
