I'm not a direct radiator kind of guy, but that looks visually stunning!
That 1450 came out of a church, it was full of dust and the pots were scratchy, got it really cheap. Cleaned it up and has been flawless, use it on the compression tweeters. I hear the RMX's do well on dirty/low voltage power and sub usage. I use the plx 3602 on the 2x18 sub bridged and has had it cut off. But i think it was power starved as I don't have enough 120 to properly supply them all, I'd trade the PLX for a RMX any day.I absolutely love the QSC RMX series of amplifiers.
Skating rink I DJ at has two QSC RMX2450 amps driving four subs with two subs in parallel and the amps in bridge mode.
Ran at nearly max power output of 2400 watts for a few hours every Saturday for almost 10 years without one single problem.
Subbox is actully an un finished project. Instead of finishing painting and making grill, I just threw a sheet over it and called it a day, pulled up the skirt to take a pic.

Hi all,
I completed a fun project using some concepts I've been learning and throwing around ideas with and wanted to test some things and try a few new things and it gave me something to work on through the hurricanes instead of wondering what it would be like to use my subs as canoes after being washed away in hurricanes (I'm in Florida). Finished this one up and just wanted to share the results because its different and probably about as DIY as it gets in many ways. So I hope you can come by an take a laugh at it or maybe some interest in it, either way, as I went to clown town on this...

The B-460 with it's equalizer (or better yet, god DSP) provides bass that helps convey a sense of the recording venue for live performances. It's more about quality of Bass than quantity of Bass
Agreed.
Dealing with subs both in my car, my home and a skating rink I've learned one can have all the quantity they want and it will not sound right, but when quality is there, the quantity doesn't have to be much.
I've been at rinks where multiple subs were used and it sounded bad and I've been at a rink where just one sub was used and it sounded real good.
Yep I've learned a lot over the years playing around with subs in my stereo systems at home and work.
I have a couple Vega 15's with the cloth surround and each one is in a 3 cu ft sealed box. I love the bass they produce as it's very natural sounding and doesn't take much power to feel the bass, but they run out of steam about 35Hz so I will be replacing them with subs designed for those boxes real soon.

I certainly posted it somewhere on the forum, but here it is again : my Omega Ripole subwoofer...
it's a compact unit (400x400x440mm) which uses 2x12" speakers, not intended for Home Theater Booms and Crashes, but for Audio Deep Floating Infra Bass complement, which notably blends superbly with my Magneplanars :

Nice set up. Maybe spread the guitar cases out... like this?
Thanks @camplo 🙂 ! Sorry, There's no room for this 😕... And they contribute to the damping of the room, plus their cases serve as... Feet rests (you see the cushion !) 😀 😉

Thank you !NICE build!
I built it in 2005 so it's 20 years old, at the time I asked a carpenter friend to make the 22.5° cuts for the 45° assembly and I made the rest of the 45° cuts for the 90° corners.
it had to be super precise for perfect assembly.
later, 20 years later, I decided to finish it completely so that it brought me satisfaction, I am not disappointed.
Good night !

I built this coffee table in 1998 with leftover wood from the new homes being built on my street at the time. My house was the 1st 1 built on the street in 1997. The table holds a MDF BP4 enclosure with two 12's. I need to replace the drivers. I think my son blew them during 1 of his holiday visits or the foam surrounds have deteriorated. I'll probably turn the table itself into an enclosure.
