Absolutely. You only need to do steps 1-3 if the amp has been repaired after a catastrophic failure.
Be careful. Move the VR slowly and wait for the idling current to stabilise after each adjustment. These Technics units love thermal runaway.

It was confusing to me, as the amp had not be repaired, simply bias went out on on channel, no signs of any failing parts, dry joints checked for.
The volume can be set at min like the V8 before bias adjustments, or maybe even just left where I had it at.
Do steps 4 and 5 after 15-20min warm up time 😀 (if it gets too hot might have to do it sooner 😛

So some contract cleaner or maybe full rotations of the pots before I start it up to do the bias adjustments
23mv, so maybe 22 or so it runs cooler
