I'm kinda hoping to see some results in this thread... I never got around to do anything with it myself... I lost count on how many of these spread sheets I've send out, but I haven't seen many builds yet?

Yes, it would be great to see this pick up again. It's a complex build (or at least repetitive) so maybe a high bar to get started. I do have a few sheets of 2.7mm plywood on hand. Would have to modify the spreadsheet slightly for the difference in thickness.

Basically a 1505. Cell Path is 59.1 cm, but 59.45cm side length because of curvature. Dimensions are set for 3mm plywood.

Note that the horn is oversized for the crossover point the OP finally chose (post 12).

For any builder who does not source a driver more robust than the OP was using, scaling the horn down might make sense (post 231).

Hi,

These horns are NOT a Altec 1505B copy. They are pure exponential with a flare frequency of 183 Hz, the same, or at least what was my and reVintages intentions bacause the throat flare in JBL 2441 and 2445.

The horns are built out of 3 mm Baltich Birch plywood, filled with polyester and the outher sides are covered with polyester and glass fibers.
