Tweeter - how is it wired (Dali 107)

The tweeter on the left speaker column was not re-producing any audio. After many DYI tests , I detached the tweeter and put it on the right side column- it worked. By that, I was able to establish that the issue was not in the tweeter itself. The issue seems to be on the connection to the tweeter on the left speaker column. I see a grey and a blue wire connected to the tweeter terminals. But don’t know where the other end of these wires are. Can the fault be at that other end - wherever it is?

If the wires were attached to your tweeter via spade connectors, the same may be true at the crossover board end.

If you're lucky, it may just be that one of those connectors has worked loose.

According to the spec sheet linked by Galu above, the crossover caps are Solen polys, which I’ve never personally had fail, so unless a loose wire is found in the investigation, you might be dealing with a dead tweeter. Easy enough to test that out by swapping the working unit to the other enclosure. This could also identify the make / model type should a replacement be deemed necessary - if so, I’d definitely consider replacing both.

If you look st my post - I had already swapped the tweeter to the other slide and it worked . The issue is on that particular speaker not the tweeter itself.
With the advice given here, I will open the woofer and investigate.

Some images

Had some time to open the woofer area and take some pictures through that. The other end of the blue and grey leads are seen ending at the crossover board.
Do these pictures give any clue? Not sure how to get about from here
