I'm planning a small new pair of speakers for my desk.
The design of the “µMar-KenSET” appeals to me (size / appearance) and also the driver used.
Can anyone tell me where the F3 is, the bass is sufficient for desktop use and whether the cabinet would also be suitable for coupling a tweeter from approx. 1000hz?
As I'm new to the forum I can't write to anyone directly yet, maybe planet10 is reading along and could get in touch with me regarding the construction plan.

If I may ask, what sort of music are you planning to listen to? What are you using for source and amplification?
The smaller wide band (aka full range) drivers used in the µMar-KenSET should be able to provide sufficient treble response in near filed / semi near field listening, so additional tweeter probably not required. Regarding the bass, it will depend on the SPL and what sort of bass response you are looking for.

Hi and Welcome. There’s quite a long thread of Dave’s at https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/planet10-hifi-minionken-plan-set-subscriptions.186350/ . I’m sure there’s people who have constructed them who may have measurements or impressions or simulations.
I plan to use the speakers in the near field at the PC, approx. 1m distance. Subjectively, I don't listen to music loudly, but I do listen to many genres.
If necessary, I could integrate a subwoofer in the future.
I listen via my Pc --> Dac SU-1 --> custom JLH 1969 amp.
