Hi, did anyone succeed doing the conversion/rebuilding of the Velodyne sub, from 110v to 230v?
If, how did you do it?
I'm asking because I'm about to buy a Velodyne ddxx sub from us...
Thx in advance
Kindly

Does someone have photos? The are no longer available and I need to do some work.
Changing voltages for the DD Series is a very easy thing if you have the correct information.
You just need to change jumpers in two (2) places - see attached files.
Have fun but be very careful since dangerous high-voltage is present.

thank you so much!
I will be cautious and therefore just move J1 & J2 and put one of them in J3 to make it change from 117v to 230v. Best regards,
Xavier

Yes, but there are jumpers in the small power supply as well.
In addition, do not forget to change the fuse ratings accordingly.
hello and sorry for late reply. So what should i do with the JMP? Cut them?

@xavion: Have you been able to successfully do the change to 230 VAC? If yes, can you post the change to the 6V power supply and a complete description of what you did?
I have the same amplifier board that you have. The documentation further above in this thread unfortunately doesn't describe this type of power board that you and I have.
Thx
Ben
