Google Image search tells me that the common reference is "Polarized" ... but is there a NEMA type for
this connector? I'm trying to adapt to my ancient roll of Monster brand flat 18 AWG to fit in the cast tray
of Beolab 6000 speaker. So a "right angle" solder-able edition would make it "perfect".

Polarized IEC 60320 C7, except according to the Wikipedia article, the polarized version is "not part of the standard": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEC_60320. Google "IEC 60320 c7 right angle"

Thanks. I'm not finding any sources for solderable IEC320 C7 polarized plugs {female} although male
sockets seem pretty common. Any leads on sources?

Just use the hollow metal tube that is common in all the cylindrical male- female connectors of that diameter.
I'm having issues with the FM plugs of the (mini) receivers, the ones that come with the radio and are "shrinked" and sometimes are different...just to say.

Unfortunately, the "feature" that I seek is the "assured polarity" of the neutral. It's {also -- the B&O is just a "sideJust use the hollow metal tube that is common in all the cylindrical male- female connectors of ...
project" along the way} for a tube phono stage, and I live in an
area that has a dense array of broadband, ATSC, and analog towers, including a 300M array in the parking lot of my shop
building. So "lots of invasive species" of EMI/RFI on the ground plane.
