Which 1.5" rapid flare Horn For JBL 2447

Hello Evryone,

I have a pair of JBL 2447 and I'd like to know which horn to use. What's your prefered horn and why? For now I have found :
- JBL PT H1010HF : the lower cost horn but a 100x100. That could be an issue to have 100° on the vertical axis.
JBL 442730-001 PTH1010HF-1 Waveguide - Speaker Exchange
- JBL M2 HORN : I have read good and bad opinion .... the most costly ...
JBL M2 Horn Lens 5025594 - Speaker Exchange
- clone of H9800 : pricely too ...
- JBL PT H64HF : can't find it
- jbl 2352 / 2353 / 2354 : can't find them

Did you know others horns ? Or where to find the others jbl horn stuff ?

Wow, what a beast of a compression driver.

Where do you want to cross it ?

I have the older pth1010hf, the newer one is the pth1010hf-1, and reasonably priced.
Rob with his 4" pushes it to 1khz.
Older pt horn is a little smaller dispersion past 5khz, the newer one doesn't and may need more boost.

I love the 2384 for 750hz crossover, some go down to 630hz.
I think my pth horn is a bit cleaner up top, but could be the mustard i had last night.

But those are the only horns i know.

Thank you. I have ask some info about PT H64HF from prosound. Will see



It will be used on top of a 12" drivers ... for now a low cost SM112N .. but I'd like to try something else after

I've wanted to work dual eminence delta pro 12a, 5ft3 tuned near 50hz.

Reasonable cost option, cross at 1,200hz, 2 can be wired 95db 16 ohm load or 4ohm 101db, no shorting rings, but should slam good. Add sub for sine wave bass plus singing to prevent warbling voice.
