Why not double the Z value and use both in // if it is in front of a mid unit for instance ? But the cooling behavior, doubling the resistor wires may help at seing the wires diameter, no ? Of course we also understand the resistor purpose is indeed to avoid current to flow by disapating it into heat...

Why not buy a second car, and tow it behind your first car, just in case your first car ever breaks down? 😀

Seriously, my friend, you are overthinking it now. Either kind of resistor will work just fine. Just get one, and be happy!

Yes ! How to full in a tank once but driving electric: here my main transport and spares when going to holidays. Of courses the electric spares are for looking for gaz for the truck when dry ! Now imagine a white and a green resistor...
