Are xenon lights suitable for a bright white light source for projection? I just had a quick look at bulbs such as the link above and they seem to be good colour (english spelling) temperature ~4000K Any thoughts, anyone?

Interesting. Although I don't think they're real Xenons because those things are really expensive.
back in the day people tried these little guys, and they came up too dim.
however, only a couple people tried.... could be useful.
you could have a breakthrough like uvodee did with the fluorex lights.

All I know is that I tried to get Xenons put in my car a few years back and people were asking thousands for them.
xenon
like the claim of the chinese guy here on this forum.
xenon should be a lot cheaper now, between 45-130 $
still there is heat being produced.

They are *not* xenon bulbs
At least they are not xenon arc lamps, although they might have xenon gas inside them.
They are only claimed to perform like xenon (arc) ones. Oh yeah🙄
It says "High Intensity Halogen Headlights, HID / Xenon performance at a fraction of the cost."
