I haven't planned a Chinatown banquet for this year, but if anyone wants to promote one, feel free to do so.Hi!
In previous years we’ve had GTG’s the night before BA starts in Chinatown, do you know of any such GTG’s this year?
Best,
Anand.
Does anyone like the idea of a beer and wine happy hour in the Firehouse Sunday evening after all the gear is put away? You can all discuss Papa's Tokin SIT amps!
Looking forward to seeing you Rahul. I’ll be in SJ from 10/11-10/18.That works for me, Tom. I am in for beer and wine after gear is put away.
What time can we start setting up on Sunday, say 8 am? I will be driving with speakers from Davis.
Best,
Anand.
What time does the amp building start on Saturday?Down to one last seat for the ACA ReduxBuild Camp before we go to waitlist.

Anyone going from Santa Cruz or San Jose?
I have a TON of quality components I need to give away, and was hoping someone going that way could take the parts to put on a "give away" table.
Big heatsinks, Sony Vfets, couple hundred IRF-240 TO-3 FETS, full tube of TO-220 IRF-9610 and another with IRF-610's, common voltage transformers, etc.
PM me if able or interested. Sorry will not part these out or ship. Take a couple of boxes and share.

I actual don’t have the Vfets, but do have LU1014D’s to make 3 First Watt F3’s.Anyone going from Santa Cruz or San Jose?

The greedy boys will be happy. I’m clearing out my garage. :7)
Including a complete analog devices, blackfin DSP development kit, Rotel line conditioner, some group buy circuit boards, two anodized amp and Preamp cases, a whole bunch of tordial transformers, and several factory DAC development boards.
PassDIY.com stuffed Ono boards I bought from another member, but have never tested or used are also included.
Member Mordikai has agreed to drive the stuff to the event.
The transformers I received from Nelson, and they are marked fail. The only issue is they have a very slight hum that is really have no factor unless you’re paying $25,000 for an amplifier.

THE PRECIOUS!
I have just returned from Sea Ranch with an incredible stash of high-end parts for the auction and give-away. I will update once I inventory it, but some of the items include:
- A FirstWatt amp from the pilot run (1st 10 built).
- Two pairs of AudioNirvana 6 inch drivers, a pair of 6 inch TangBands (167E?), and pair of TangBand FE87s.
- 10 pairs of matched Tokin JFETS, and two dozen quads of LU1014D.
- A case of new old stock mid-bass drivers and a case of new-old-stock ribbon tweeters. MTM anyone?
- A box of miscellaneous toroidal core transformers, plus a case of the transformers as formerly used in Pass Lab products.
- Five assembled ACA Mini's, five ACA Mini essential kits, six assembled Korg Nutube pre-amp boards.
- An amplifier built by Siegfried Linkwitz
We will let our online Zoom folks participate in the auction for some of these items, but the rest will be for the in-person raffle.

I have the schedule or at least the run order. I will see if anyone has an update on the length of their presentation and then get it out. But basically pre-show 12:30, with presentations and Q&A 1:00-4:30 Saturday and 1:00-4:30 with an auction after until 5:30. Well that's the plan but who knows about schedules? Art Noxon, Scott Hinson Saturday, Jon VerHalen, Tony Salsich, Nelson Pass Sunday plus some updates.
