Gordoste: not tragic, it's an opportunity to spread the words around.... let's start mixin' :)

I quit the scene around 2005 and keep a distant eye on what happened since... never been a fan of what it became in the 2010's, the dubstep drum sound don't do it for me and... no more amen break!? Wtf...

This one i play always just to see people faces when the break appear... :)

I love the video aesthtetic: so 90's, remind me of Massive Attack's 'unfinished sympathy' or Bjork vids of that time ( she was Goldie's girlfriend at that period). Time fly...

You are right... hard techy dnb kinda reached a deadend. But people are still moving forward in other directions. The whole "popular" dubstep/halftime movement was mostly pretty boring (although there were some great exceptions).

Since you obviously go for harder stuff here are some more recent ones...




It's not your grandaddy's techstep....
